GICLEE PRINTS

A Glimpse into Kate's Studio

After spending 25 years in downtown Holland, Michigan owning an art gallery and home decor shop, I am delighted to continue painting in one of the more than a hundred quaint shops of this vibrant downtown community.

Daily, I appreciate the natural beauty of West Michigan. The birch tree is my beacon, yet I am also intrigued with the immense vastness of the ever-changing water of Lake Michigan. Of course, I can't forget the tulips, as I live in the city with the 5th largest tulip festival in the nation!

You'll discover the Giclee Prints are divided into these categories:

  • Birch

  • Shoreline

  • Birds

  • Florals

Affectionately called her 'Art Cave'

WHAT IS GICLEE?

The word Giclée (“g-clay”), is derived from the French verb giclee meaning “to squirt or spray”, Giclee, is used to describe a fine art digital printing process spraying microscopic pigment-based inks with high quality archival quality paper to achieve Giclée prints of superior archival quality, light fastness and stability. Our Giclée prints are capable of producing an extremely wide tonal range and color gamut.
