Decorating Your Home with Color that Suits You!

Let Your Personality be Your Guide to the Power of Color!

Color can uplift or relax. Motivate or console. Stimulate or quiet your soul.

From your experiences and memories, certain colors will quicken your breath.

Memories from your youth, such as that peach tree outside Gram's farmhouse kitchen window. As the sweet scent of the fruit floated through the open window, you'd nabbed a peach from the bowl that sat on the peach-colored Formica counter. One nibble caused the juice to ooze down your chin while the savory flavor exploded in your mouth as you hovered over the sink to keep the juice from dripping down your shirt. To this day, the color of soft orange comforts you.

These experiences leave lasting impressions and influence your personal reactions.

So whatever color puts a spring in your step, it's yours to grab.

So how much color in your home is enough?

The answer is in YOU!

Color, above all else, fits your personality.

Family and friends aren't going to be the ones who spend the lengthy time in your home. In the end, it's your comfort that counts.

So where to start with color?

If you are nervous about bringing strong color into your space ... start small.

A simple way to begin adding color is with textiles. Accessories like pillows, throws, and area rugs. All these items can be easily switched out as your mood or seasons change.
